Marisa Favata is a classically trained pastry chef whose work celebrates nostalgia, craftsmanship, and the beauty of simple ingredients. A graduate of The Culinary Institute of America, she refined her skills in the kitchens of Ron Ben-Israel Cakes, Gramercy Tavern, and Per Se before founding Superfine in New York City. Her chocolates reflect her love of local ingredients, and belief that the smallest details make the greatest impact.
Outside the kitchen Marisa is an avid coffee drinker, devoted dog lover, and a passionate collector of handbags and shoes.
